The project used a weighted rubric to assess AI outputs for strategic thinking, business alignment, workforce impact, risk, financial awareness, and executive communication.The project demonstrated how 30+ years of business experience can be applied to AI evaluation, using critical thinking and structured judgment to distinguish between responses that simply sound good and recommendations that are practical and business ready.
Human-in-the-Loop AI: When AI Jumps to ConclusionsThis project explores what happens when Generative AI makes assumptions or reaches conclusions without having enough information to support them.I tested AI responses to situations involving ambiguity, missing information, and conflicting requirements, examining when the AI recognized uncertainty and when it moved too quickly toward an answer.The project reinforced the importance of keeping human judgment in the loop. Rather than automatically accepting an AI response, users need to recognize when additional information, clarification, or human expertise is required.The key takeaway is simple: AI can be very effective at generating answers, but knowing when it doesn't have enough information to answer confidently is just as important.

- Identified which recommendations you would present to a CEOThe project reinforced something I believe strongly: AI can generate valuable recommendations, but human experience and critical thinking are still essential to determining whether those recommendations are worth pursuing.
AI CFO Challenge: Evaluating AI Financial Analysis and Business Decision-MakingThis project showed that AI can quickly generate and analyze financial information, but the results still require careful review. Using Excel, I identified several calculation errors in the initial financials and established a corrected set of results before providing them to a second AI model for independent analysis. The second model identified meaningful business issues and provided practical recommendations, which I evaluated using my own rubric and business experience.
